Rajpath Navratri Bhavena ni Ratladi

Privacy Policy

What the Rajpath Navratri app collects, why we need it, and what you can ask us to do with it.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

This policy covers the Rajpath Navratri mobile application and the website at rajpathnavratri.com. Rajpath Navratri is the Navratri festival held at Jawahar Maidan, Bhavnagar, Gujarat, presented together with Bhavena ni Ratladi. In this policy "we", "us" and "the organisers" mean Rajpath Navratri.

We ask for as little as we can. Everything below exists so that we can issue your pass and let you into the ground.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name — printed on your pass and checked at the gate.
  • Mobile number — how you sign in, and how we send you your one-time password (OTP).
  • Email address — for pass confirmations and support replies.
  • Photograph — where a photo pass is used, so the marshal can confirm the pass belongs to you.
  • Gender — used only where the ground has separate entry arrangements.
  • Group details — if you book for a family or group, the names and mobile numbers of the members you add.

Information collected automatically

  • Device identifier and notification token — so your pass stays tied to your own phone and we can send you event notifications.
  • Pass scan records — which pass was scanned, on which night, at what time. This is how we stop the same pass being used twice.
  • Basic app and error logs — to find and fix crashes.

We do not collect payment or card details. Passes are not sold through this app or this website at present. If that changes, this policy will be updated before any payment feature goes live.

2. Why we use it

  • To create and issue your entry pass and its QR code.
  • To verify you at the gate and to make sure one pass is used once.
  • To sign you in securely by OTP, and to keep your pass on your own device.
  • To send you event information — timings, artist announcements, weather and safety notices.
  • To answer your support messages.
  • To keep the ground safe, and to meet any requirement placed on us by the authorities.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

3. Who else is involved

A small number of service providers handle data on our behalf:

  • SMS gateway — delivers your login OTP and pass confirmation messages. It receives your mobile number and the message text.
  • Google Firebase — delivers push notifications to your phone. It receives your device notification token.
  • Our hosting provider — runs the servers that store the data described above.

We may also disclose information where the law, a court, or a government or police authority requires it — including any direction issued in connection with running a public event.

4. Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on servers operated for the organisers and is kept within India. Access is limited to the organising team and the technical staff who maintain the system.

5. How long we keep it

  • Account details — while your account exists, and until you ask us to delete it.
  • Pass and scan records — kept for the festival season and a reasonable period afterwards for security, dispute and audit purposes.
  • Support messages — kept as long as needed to resolve your query.

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong.
  • Delete your account and personal data — see Delete Your Account.
  • Stop notifications — turn them off in your phone's settings for the app.

Write to support@rajpathnavratri.in and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Children

The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them. Children below five years of age are admitted to the ground free and do not need a pass or an account. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will remove it.

8. Photography at the event

Rajpath Navratri is photographed and filmed, and the ground is covered by CCTV for safety. By entering you accept that you may appear in event photographs or video, which may be used to promote the festival. To have a published photograph of yourself removed, write to us and we will take it down.

9. Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, sign-in is by one-time password rather than a shared password, and passes are bound to a single device so a forwarded screenshot cannot be used. No system is perfect, but we take the protection of your data seriously and act quickly on any problem we find.

10. Cookies on this website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Pages load a web font from Google Fonts and, on the venue page, an embedded Google Map — these are served by Google and are subject to Google's own privacy terms.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be announced in the app.
